The Rockcastle County High School Cheerleaders delivered an outstanding performance on Saturday, December 6, at the Universal Cheerleading Association (UCA) Smoky Mountain Regional in Sevierville, Tennessee.
Competing against top teams from across the region, the squad earned two first-place finishes and received two bids to the prestigious National High School Cheerleading Championship (NHSCC) in Orlando, Florida, scheduled for January 30–February 1.
RCHS captured first place in the Traditional Medium Varsity Non-Tumbling Division and first place in the Super Large Varsity Non-Tumbling Game Day Division, showcasing their precision, energy, and strong team unity.
Following this national success, the team will take the floor again this Saturday as they compete in the KHSAA State Cheerleading Championship at George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester, Kentucky.
